About Us

Glasafon Pet Products is the parent company, and is responsible for Trade and Breed Club sales and enquiries. It is also responsible for importing stock from several countries, including Germany, Switzerland, Poland, and Australia. It is the Main or Sole UK importer for several companies worldwide.

The company is run jointly by Steve and Sharon Jefford,

The company is based in the idyllic historic town of Arundel in Sussex.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (RETAIL SALES)

All retail prices are inclusive of VAT

Breed images on products may change from the motifs (low resolution images) shown on this site without notice, dependant on the current image being supplied to us by the product manufacturer, which varies from time to time.  

All orders including overseas buyers must be prepaid.

All goods supplied by us remain the property of Glasafon Pet Products until such time as they are paid for in full.

We are able to take Credit/ Debit Card orders via the internet, we take Mastercard, Visa, Delta, & Switch.

Subject to availability orders will be dispatched within seven days. Please allow up to 28 days unless otherwise notified. 

An additional charge may be made for express delivery.  

Delivery times quoted are intended as a guide. Whilst every effort will be made on our part to ensure delivery on time, unfortunately we cannot be held liable for delays caused by events beyond our control. 

Claims will be considered only if notified to us within 7 days of delivery. 

Postage and Packaging will be charged at cost with a minimum charge of £1.50.

Subject to stock availability, a 24 and 48 hour delivery service is available at an additional charge. 

Your statutory rights are not affected

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept Visa , Mastercard and Switch (within the UK). We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.

Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

All prices are only valid on the day of ordering.

Substitute goods will not be sent, unless agreed with the buyer first.

Shipping And Handling

Postage and Packaging will be charged at cost with a minimum charge of £1.50.

Goods can only be sent to the registered address of the Card Holder.

Delivery Schedule

We try deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you within 28 days.

If goods cannot be delivered within this period, the buyer has the right to cancel the order.

Credit / debit cards will not be charged until goods are despatched.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.

You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Back order items are not charged to credit / debit cards until they are shipped.

Tax Charges

We do not charge VAT or any other tax at present.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption as require by UK Banks.

They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

When Credit Card Details are requested, you will be asked for the 3 digit security number. This is the last 3 digits printed on the Signature strip on the back of the card. These numbers are proof that you have the actual card in your hand, not just a till receipt. This is to help prevent credit card fraud either on the telephone or online, and are required by our bank.

All faulty goods will be replaced by us for a period of 28 days from date of delivery, unless damaged by buyer.

Glasafon Pet Products do not disclose buyers' information to third parties.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Returns Policy

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, You have a right to cancel your purchase within 7 days of receiving the goods. If you wish to exercise this right, you must inform us in writing within the 7 days (by post, fax or E-mail to sales@glasafon.co.uk).

We will then give you a returns number. Your credit card will be credited with the cost of the goods (less any postage), within 20days of us receiving the goods back in "AS NEW" condition.

Please note that any goods listed on our site as "A Personalised Product" including Gate Signs, Car Stickers, Tax Disc Holders or any other product (especially Giftware), that is customised by the addition of Breed Motifs is treated under the above regulations as a Personalised product that due to its customisation is unlikely to be re-sellable and is excluded from the 7 day right of cancellation under section 13 paragraph 1c of the above regulation.

Please note under section 13 Paragraph 1b of the above regulations, changes of exchange rates between GBP and the currency in your own country do not constitute a valid reason for refusing goods.

Returns will only be accepted if authorised by us before shipping. Return Postage is at the cost of the consumer not the seller, unless the goods are being returned due to being faulty or "not fit for the purpose advertised". It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that goods are not damaged during transit back to us.
